Sometimes, inspiration comes from seeing what others have done and experienced. Here are a few sample itineraries for actual trips I have arranged for clients in the past.
Of course your itinerary might not look like these, as each one is carefully crafted to appeal to your tastes and interests.

Iditarod Tour

For some, seeing this iconic and historic race is a dream come true. A real adventure, this tour introduces you not only to the Majestic Alaska landscape, but the history of the Inuit natives  and how the environment and nature shaped their culture.  In this tour, you not only meet the champion mushers, and learn to mush your own sled team.  Plus - the aurora borealis... Enough said!

Spain and Morocco Luxury Cruise

If snow and ice are not your thing... maybe the exotic allure of Morocco will tickle your fancy. This trip features luxury cruise line Seabourn, which boasts small shops (200 cabins). Excursions include historic and ancient ruins all over southern Spain, Portugal and Morocco.

Rome and Sorrento

If you want to stick to the classics - this may be your inspiration. Classical sites in Rome, including a central hotel with rooftop views to die for, are just the start. A stop with private tour of Pompeii on the way to Sorrento is a particular feature of this trip. Lots of unscheduled time to explore all that Rome and the Amalfi coast has to offer.

Golf in St Andrews

Not everyone wants to sight see all day every day. A golf outing may be to your liking. This small group trip included teeing off at some of the most iconic courses in the birthplace of golf - St Andrews, Scotland.  Non-golf activities round out the itinerary with special outings for non-golfers in the group.
